Amador Superior Court points users to its online case-search instructions and the Amador Public Access portal. The court says a logon account is required. Public search can return matching case numbers and case data, and selecting a case displays the register of actions, meaning the record of documents filed and hearings held or scheduled. Some detailed access is limited to parties and attorneys through a case-access process.

Charging Documents After Arrest
The booking charge can change once the prosecutor evaluates the report. A complaint often starts a California criminal case. An information is commonly used in felony procedure after a preliminary hearing or waiver. An indictment comes from a grand jury and is less common in routine county practice. A total bail value does not always mean a person can walk out immediately, because holds, warrants, probation or parole matters, or court orders can block release.

California law allows certain arrest records to be sealed after no conviction, subject to statutory limits. Sealing restricts public access.
